 This agreement is for the sale of a website business.

WHEN TO USE THIS DOCUMENT

 This sale agreement -

• Is for the sale of a business which is a website business, one which trades Online / E-commerce.
• Can include the sale of the actual website.
• Can include the sale of the domain name.
• Can include the sale of any assets including stock, equipment, databases, suppliers and / or customers and goodwill.
• Option to include the transfer of employees if you wish.
• Allows the buyer and seller to customise details about what is included in the sale and what the sale process will be.

 The agreement also takes into account that the seller may not actually own the website but has a licence to use it, such as an existing agreement with the web designer.

THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING:

• Full definitions.
• The process – what will happen and when.
• The price and what is included.
• How payment will be made.
• Seller’s obligations.
• Buyer’s obligations.
• Restrictions on the seller for after the sale.
